Founded by Sherry and Jeff Hwang in 1995, with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as our first federal client.
Three decades later, we're 200+ employees strong, employee-owned, and trusted by federal agencies that depend on mission-critical systems. Our pyramid is more than a logo, it embodies our mission, our vision, and the values that hold both up. The Pyramid Story
Sherry and Jeff Hwang built Pyramid Systems to pay forward the American dream. Three decades and one founding HUD contract later, that mission still shapes how every program we run is staffed, scoped, and shipped.
Sherry and Jeff Hwang moved to America with the dream of a better life. They met at Georgia State University, where both graduated with master's degrees in Computer Information Systems. In 1995, they teamed up to create Pyramid Systems. Their first client was the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Hard work and dedication to that client earned Pyramid a sterling reputation at HUD, which opened doors at the federal agencies that still trust us today.
