Pyramid Systems, Inc. Accepted into SBD Alliant, LLC as a Joint Venture Member, Positioning Company to Compete on Alliant Small Business Opportunities

Fairfax, VA, December 2, 2011--Pyramid Systems, Inc. (Pyramid) is pleased to announce that the company has been formally accepted into SBD Alliant, LLC (SBD Alliant). SBD Alliant is a Joint Venture holding an Alliant Small Business contract. Led by Solutions By Design II, LLC (SBD), SBD Alliant is a partnership of small businesses providing IT solutions to federal agencies under the General Services Administration (GSA) Alliant Small Business Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). As a Joint Venture member, Pyramid is now positioned to bid on Alliant SB opportunities as and through SBD Alliant.

The Alliant Small Business GWAC is a competitive multiple award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, providing worldwide IT solutions to federal agencies. Benefits of the Alliant Small Business GWAC include its availability and access, as well as a lengthy period of performance that allows for long-term planning of large-scale program requirements. The term of the Alliant Small Business contract is a five-year base (February 2009 through February 2014) with one five-year option, for a total contract period of 10 years. The overall program ceiling is $15 billion.

Pyramid Senior Vice President, Elizabeth El-Nattar, made the following comment following Pyramid’s formal acceptance into SBD Alliant:
