Pyramid Systems, Inc. (Pyramid) will provide the products, expertise, services for the design and development for two Tenant Rental Assistance Certification System (TRACS) modernization projects at HUD. The first project will replace the current TRACSMail system, which allows for communications between TRACS and industry partners. The second project will replace the currently outdated application to maintain subsidy contracts information within the TRACS system.
Pyramid will be providing:
- Project Management.
- AGILE software development.
- Iterative Development & Q/A Methodology.
- Design and Implementation of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) for TRACS.
- TRACSMail Systems Architecture and Design.
- TRACS Client interfacing components for enhanced User experience.
- Integration of current systems with the new TRACS Contracts interface.
- Coordination with HUD Business and Industry, to elicit feedback and build consensus.
- Compliance with infrastructure and security standards enforced by HUD and the federal government.
These task orders provide for enhancing TRACS to meet Multifamily Housing Program objectives as well as meeting the HUD EA and Vision 2010 initiatives. One of HUD's objectives is to advance program accountability, and improve product service delivery, to its customers and business partners through the improved financial efficacy and efficiency of system processes. To meet these objectives, HUD has established the HUD Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Vision 2010 initiative, both of which provide a framework for projects to make use of more up to date technologies and follow standards for compliant architecture and systems.
