Fairfax, Virginia -- Pyramid Systems, Inc. (Pyramid) was recently awarded a performance-based contract to provide the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD) with help desk, project management, and full life-cycle software development and maintenance support.
Under the initial task orders, Pyramid will deliver help desk services for CPD staff, business partners, grantees and public interest groups, and provide project management support consisting of change management, investment portfolio activities, and program management for CPD IT systems. In addition, Pyramid will assist HUD senior management in preparing and tracking project budgets, documentation and deliverables. Future options to the contract will require Pyramid to perform software development, perfective maintenance, and adaptive maintenance activities.
The mission of the CPD is to develop viable communities through the promotion of integrated approaches that provide decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expansion of economic opportunities for low and moderate income people. This is accomplished through more than a dozen CPD programs and community development strategies aimed at empowering local residents in building their community.
This contract builds on Pyramid’s substantial effort at HUD on multiple contracts of a similar nature.
