Arlington, Virginia -- Pyramid Systems, Inc. (Pyramid) of Arlington, Virginia (psi-it.com) and its teaming partner, Quality Technical Services, Inc. (QTS) were recently awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to provide consulting and facilitating services to the National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to develop comprehensive training courses and to update and revise the NRCS Federal Grants and Cooperative Agreements Handbook.
The Pyramid team will develop the curriculum and training materials and provide a national training session on the Federal Grant and Cooperative Agreement Act of 1977 to instruct individual NRCS offices on how to consistently award, process, and administer grants and cooperative agreements in accordance with federal regulations and agency policy. The training will emphasize current policy and procedures, including the 1977 FGCA, 7 USC 6962A, and the e-grants process. The national training session will include Web-based remedial training.
The team will facilitate six NRCS Grant and Agreement working sessions and a Grant and Agreement training session. In addition, the Pyramid team will develop the curriculum for an executive training session for NRCS leadership participants.
