JOB OPENINGS:

Quality Assurance Analyst

The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for verifying and ensuring that the organization as well as designated projects are fully compliant with organizational- and project-defined and documented process, procedures, standards and guidelines.

Basic Duties/Responsibilities:

• Works with Project Managers to develop and manage project-level Quality Assurance plans and schedules and executes QA activities according to plans and schedules
• Works with the Quality Manager to capture and present organizational/corporate quality metrics and ensures the implementation of defined metrics within programs/projects
• Conducts process and product quality assurance audits and reviews according to each project or functional areas’ QA Plans and schedules to ensure compliance with Pyramid Solutions Development Methodology (SoDM) process and deliverable development standards
• Maintains records of QA audit checklists and reports and communicates audits findings with Executive Management, Senior Management, Project Management, Corporate Functions and Projects Team Members
• Identifies and documents non-compliance findings and works with project teams and organizational functional areas to create corrective action plans to manage non-compliances to closure
• Provides training and mentoring for Pyramid associates on the utilization of organizational and project defined process standards and methodologies
• Responsible for participating in CMMI appraisals and ISO audits as necessary

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• College Degree in Computer Science, Information Management System or related field, and/or specialized training beyond high school

Experience Required:

• Minimum 1 year experience in Process and Product QA auditing

Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of/Experience with the CMMI process areas
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to plan and manage
• Ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Possesses creative and independent problem solving skills
• Possesses strong analytical skills
• Federal Government project experience desired
• Understands current best practices in software development
• Maintains current knowledge in latest software development methodologies and tools
