JOB OPENINGS:

Senior .NET Developer

Designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis and certification of software.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Researches, designs, and develops software systems
• Leads and works with other software engineers to conduct software design and deliver quality software and required documentation on time
• Applies latest software development methodologies to assure the quality of the system
• Develops and executes software unit testing codes and integration tests
• Consults with customer concerning maintenance of software system
• Coordinates installation of software system
• Mentors junior software engineers

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• College Degree in related area and/or specialized training beyond high school.

Experience Required:

• Four plus years of .NET development with C#
• Windows Presentation and Communication Foundation Library
• Prism (composite) Application block
• Unity Framework
• Model-View-ViewModel design patterns
• Knowledge of XML, Entity Framework 3.5, .NET framework 3.5+, ADO .NET, Visual Studio 2008+, UML class diagrams and object models, and Service Oriented Architecture
• Federal Government project experience desired

Experience Desired:

• Rational Unified Process
• Test Driven development
• Iterative development
• Microsoft LINQ
• Team Foundation Server
• Knowledge of XAML, ClickOnce, Windows Installer and DevComponents

Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Mastery of several advanced programming languages
• Understands latest software development methodologies
• Resolves problems independently
• Good documentation and communication skills
