JOB OPENINGS:

Enterprise Software Architect

The Software Architect will collaborate with Software Professionals architecting, designing and building business systems of enterprise-scale and breadth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leads a team of developers throughout the entire development cycle
• Provides developers with guidance via functional and design reviews to ensure high level of application usability, performance and scalability
• Supports the strategic planning and capture management of software related practices
• Serves as a presenter, architect and trusted advisor to customers (government and commercial)
• Performs hands-on development and prototyping when required
• Analyzes and troubleshoots production issues with project teams, vendors and clients
• Documents steps, roles and responsibilities, strategies, outcome and customer feedback
• Develops post mortem documents and conducts meetings of lessons learned
• Works closely with Program Managers to ensure that the company's strategic vision is realized through quality delivery of services
• Works closely with Business Development Team to generate and capture leads

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Experience Required:

• 6+ years experience developing increasingly complex and sophisticated software, of which 3 years to be at the architectural level
• 6+ years of experience in Micro.NET, Java Development, Oracle and Microsoft sequel
• Demonstrates ability to understand notations done in modeling languages (ex: UML) pertaining to use cases and class diagrams and be able to implement this through coding
• Excellent understanding of all parts of Software Engineering (e.g. Requirements, Design, Implementation, Testing)
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Detail-oriented, results-driven and works well within a team environment
• Strong analytical skills and experience troubleshooting systems issues
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer interface skills
